“I wish that every youth could have the chance
to participate in this life changing program.”
Carlos, LOVE Leader

In our preventive and educational programs and outreach workshops, LOVE annually engages 500 youth, aged 13-19. LOVE programs bring together youth who have been witnesses, victims and/or perpetrators of violence. These programs are offered to schools that recognize the need for violence prevention and group intervention. LOVE also has a bilingual after-school program available to youth who can benefit from our services.

Youth are typically referred to the program by their friends, parents, teachers or social workers. They commit to attending sessions for 8 to 24 weeks during the school year, depending on the program. Programs are inter-connected so that youth can stay with us for up to five years as they develop leadership skills and learn to become engaged citizens.
